PLEASE NOTE: Orders containing different billing and shipping addresses will be mailed a "Credit Card Authorization Form" to the billing address and to be signed by the card holder. This process has been put in place to protect the Credit Card Holder from any fraudulent transactions being performed without their knowledge.

When Will My Credit Card Be Charged?
For All Orders: Your credit card will be automatically authorized for your purchase. Once we have confirmed that your order is in stock and available to be shipped, your credit card will then be charged.

For Custom/Special Orders: Your credit card will be charged in full for your purchase. Custom Orders ship within 8-10 weeks of the date your order is placed. Custom Orders are unable to be cancelled after 24 hours of purchase.

How Do I Pay By Personal Check, Cashiers Check or Money Order?
Add the items you would like to purchase into the online shopping cart as you would if you were paying by credit card. Then, enter your shipping and billing information, including all contact telephone numbers. Finally, print out the order page and mail with payment to:

PRICING POLICIES:

If there is a pricing error on our web site, we will contact you with the correct price before processing and shipping your order.

Will I Be Charged Sales Tax?:
Sales Tax is ONLY charged when you are shipping to an address located in the State of Florida. Florida State Sales Tax is 6.00% and is calculated at checkout. Orders delivered in Canada are subject to all taxes and duties.

Do You Price Match?:
Yes, we will match the price of any item that has been found for less on another website. Please note that the price match is not able to be combined with any other discounts or offers. Price Match must be requested at the time the order is placed.

If it is, in fact, the same exact item and same manufacturer, we will, in most cases, match the price of the item. Please note we offer free shipping, other sites usually show one price and then charge you a large shipping fee.

PLEASE NOTE: Once the order is placed and processed we will not refund the difference. We will only honor price matching on new orders, we will not honor price matching on orders previously placed.

Price Matching cannot be combined with any other offer. Sales Tax if applicable does not apply. Modern Furniture Décor reserves the right to deny any request for a price match.

Do You Have Sales Events?:
Yes, periodically we will have "Online Sales Events" where items will be discounted for a specific period of time. Sales are only valid during the specified time period and do not apply to previous orders. In most cases we receive discounts from the manufacturers, which are then passed down to you.

Please Note: Sale and Coupon Prices are only valid for the dates shown. Sales Events and Coupon Codes expire at 11:59pm PST on the ending date. We do not discount or credit previous orders that were not on sale at the time of purchase. Orders will only be processed with discounts for Coupon Codes when coupon code is entered on order at the time the order is placed. Coupons cannot be used in combination with any other offer.

BACKORDERED ITEMS:

From time to time there will be items that are on backordered, or out of stock at the manufacturer. It is our guarantee that you will be notified with an estimated delivery time. We will not be able to offer you a specific delivery time, but will be able to provide you with an estimated ship date based on information received from the manufacturer. You will will not be charged for items that are found to be on backorder. It is our policy to not charge our customers until orders have been confirmed to be in stock and available to be shipped.

DISCONTINUED ITEMS:

On occasion items will be discontinued by the manufacturer without prior notice. In these cases, we will contact you with a replacement or similar product. Should you not choose a replacement, your order will be cancelled without penalty.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

All orders, both Standard & Custom, can be cancelled without penalty within 24 hours of purchase, as long as order has not been fulfilled and shipped. Should order ship out from manufacturer within 24 hours of being placed, our Return Policy will apply.

All requests to cancel an order must be received via email. Email cancellation requests to Orders@ModernFurnitureDecor.com. Once your cancellation request has been received you will be then emailed confirmation that your order has been cancelled. Please note that all orders are not considered to be cancelled until you have received an emailed confirmation from Modern Furniture Décor.

Cancellation Of Standard Items:
We deal direct with the manufacturer and do not warehouse or inventory the product in our own facility. Doing this provides us with the opportunity to pass on greater price discounts to our customers and make more products and options (i.e.: size, colors, etc.) available to you. Because we order the products with the manufacturers as we receive orders, Modern Furniture Décor incurs all cancellation charges and return freight charges from the above mentioned manufacturers, this being said we cannot cancel customer orders with the manufactures without incurring a penalty.

Backorders - Items Out Of Stock:
NO Penalty for backorders, as long as the item(s) has not been scheduled and staged for shipping.

Standard Orders:
15% Penalty on all standard orders cancelled after 24 hours and have not been scheduled and staged for shipping.
20% Penalty on all standard orders after they have been scheduled and staged for shipping.

Custom | Special Order Items:
A Custom | Special Order Item is an item that is made with your personal specifications. These items are "Made To Order" and are not sitting in stock at the manufacturer. Custom/Special Order Items cannot be cancelled after 24 hours of purchase.

PLEASE NOTE: Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled. Please review our RETURN POLICY.

SHIPPING POLICY:

SHIPPING INFORMATION FOR ALL ORDERS

Modern Furniture Décor currently ships anywhere within the Continental United States. At this time, we do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico. We also are unable deliver to APO, FPO, PO Boxes or personal mail boxes. Delivery to Canada is only offered on items by Nuevo Living.

The shipping times listed are estimates only, not guarantees. We rely on the manufacturer to provide us with ship dates for their products. If we find that there is going to be an unusual delay on your order, we will notify you immediately. On average, most large items take 7-21 days to deliver from the time they ship out from the manufacturer, not from the time the order is placed. Deliveries are usually made Monday through Friday. Exact delivery dates are not available at the time your order is placed. Once your order has been shipped, you will be emailed the tracking information for your order to the email address supplied on your order. For orders that are shipped via Truck Freight you will be also be contacted to arrange a date and time for your delivery. Modern Furniture Décor is unable to arrange delivery dates and times on your behalf.

In the event that you need to reschedule delivery, or if you are not going to be home, please contact the delivery service company at the telephone number provided with your tracking information. PLEASE NOTE: If the delivery is scheduled and no one is home, there will be a re-delivery fee that must be paid prior to the next delivery attempt. Modern Furniture Décor will not be held responsible for any storage fees or additional delivery fees beyond the shipping method selected at the time your order is placed. We request that if you schedule a delivery and are unable to be home, please contact the delivery service company, do not contact Modern Furniture Décor, as we will not be able to provide you with any delivery information.

SHIPPING OPTIONS:

Modern Furniture Décor offers Free Standard Shipping (FedEx/UPS) or LTL (Freight) delivery on all orders within the continental United States. Modern Furniture Décor also offers upgraded shipping options, in addition to the included free standard shipping service. These upgrades are recommended for larger, heavier items, and are subject to additional shipping charges as indicated during checkout.

Free Standard Shipping:    These items are generally delivered "CURBSIDE" only, and will not be brought inside of your home. You will receive an email notification when your order ships with your tracking and contact information for delivery company, but you MAY NOT receive a call prior to delivery. These items are usually shipped via UPS, Federal Express or Truck Freight.

Inside Delivery - Threshold:    The delivery driver(s) will bring the item(s) into the first dry area at your delivery location (front door to home, apartment/office building or garage).

Inside Delivery & Assembly:    The delivery driver(s) will carry the item(s) into your house, apartment or place of business (which includes two flights of stairs, 15 stairs each) and will perform up to one hour of assembly. Any extra time required to complete assembly or to satisfy any other requests of the driver(s) during the delivery of your order will be charged to the customer at a rate of $60.00/hour.

Any additional services, not selected at the time the order is placed, such as: lift gate, inside delivery, re-delivery or re-consignment, and storage or stocking charges, which are charged by the shipping company, will be the customer's responsibility. Modern Furniture Décor will not be responsible for any extra shipping charges requested at the time of delivery.

Please Note: Even though Modern Furniture Décor offers "Free Shipping", all shipping costs will be deducted from the refund of any returned items. This includes orders that are refused at the time of delivery for no reason and without prior notice. View our RETURN POLICY for further information.

HASSLE FREE - RETURNS POLICY:

Modern Furniture Décor can assure you that the products that we offer are of high quality, and you will be satisfied with your purchase. In the event that your order arrives at your home and is not exactly what you expected, is too big or small for your space, whatever the reason may be, you do have the option to return your order within 10 days of receipt. *

If there is nothing wrong with the item(s) that you have ordered and you simply do not like the choice that you have made, the item(s) may be returned within 10 days of receipt. Once your return has been received and found to be in "like new" condition, you will receive a refund minus a 20% restocking fee and the shipping fees paid by Modern Furniture Décor to have your order shipped out to you. Even though we offer "Free Shipping", there are still shipping fees paid by Modern Furniture Décor. These shipping fees will be deducted from your refund. Should you choose to not follow our return policy, your return may be refused and further fees may also be deducted from your refund.

In the event that you refuse your item(s) at the time of delivery, the return policy will still apply and you will also be charged the return freight charges that Modern Furniture Décor will be charged for your refusal of the order.

Please Note:

* Custom/Special Order Items Custom/Special Orders: Items that have a color options swatch to choose from or a different configuration than what is normally "stocked" are non-returnable. Custom/Special Order Items are all custom "made to order" items and are not sitting in stock in a manufacturer warehouse. These products are non-returnable and non-refundable.

* Nuevo, Nuevo Living & Euro Style Orders: Items manufactured by Nuevo Living and Euro Style are unable to be returned. These products are non-returnable and non-refundable except in the case of damage or defect.

* Bedding & Textiles: Modern Furniture Décor is unable to accept any returns of any bedding and/or textile items.

How To Return Your Order:

1. Send an email to Service@ModernFurnitureDecor.com and include the following information:

  • Name order was placed under
  • Order number
  • Item(s) requesting to return


Once your return request has been received and reviewed, you will then be emailed the following information:

  • RMA#
  • Return Shipping Instructions


PLEASE NOTE:
Tracking Numbers for all RETURNS must be received within 5 Business Days from your receipt of RMA# and return instructions.


2. Please repackage your order carefully in the same manner in which your order was received. All item(s) must be returned in their original packaging and in "Brand New" condition to be accepted.

3. It is your responsibility to arrange for your order to be shipped back to the address provided to you with your RMA#. Tracking numbers for your return shipment must be provided by sending an email to Service@ModernFurnitureDecor.com so we can alert the warehouse to expect your return. We suggest that you insure your return shipment in the event there are any issues or damages during transit. Any damages to your return shipment will be your responsibility, the original order charges will apply, and a refund will not be provided. No returns will be accepted without receipt of an RMA# and Return Instructions by Modern Furniture Décor.

4. Once your order has been received, inspected and found to be in "Brand New" condition, you will then receive your refund. Refunds will only be issued to the credit card used for the original purchase.

THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE RETURN POLICY. NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 10 DAYS OF RECEIPT.

REFUNDS POLICY:

Refunds for Cancelled or Returned Orders can only be credited back to the same credit card used when making the purchase. Refunds for Cancelled Orders will be processed within 5 Business Days. Orders that have already been shipped, or are in the process of being returned will be refunded once goods have been received and inspected. All refunds will be processed minus any applicable fees.

In the event that the original credit card is no longer valid, Modern Furniture Décor will issue a check to be mailed to the billing address on the original order.

DAMAGES POLICY:

ALL DAMAGES MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 24 HOURS

ORDERS LEFT AT DOOR - NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED:

For orders that are left at your door in the event that you are not home and a signature is not required, please inspect your order as soon as possible. Should there be any damage to your order, please contact us, Click Here To Send Us An Email, within 24 hours of the receipt of your order. Be sure to retain all original cartons and/or packaging until resolution regarding your order has been reached. Digital images will be required showing the damage in question, as well as any damage to the packaging that your order arrived in. These images should be emailed along with any description that you feel is necessary. Once this information has been received we will then contact the manufacturer for resolution. It is our policy to repair or replace any damaged merchandise. Should you wish to decline replacements, our normal Return Policy will apply and a 20% restocking fee will be applied.

ORDERS REQUIRING SIGNATURE:

Even though we use professional furniture moving services, accidents do happen on occasion. All products are fully inspected and are in perfect condition before being shipped out from the manufacturer. When the merchandise is received, we require that you fully inspect the merchandise and/or the cartons for any in transit shipping damage.

In the event there is noticeable damage to the merchandise or the cartons, we request that this is noted on the freight bill. Do not send back the merchandise, if the defect or damage is noted on the delivery bill then we will have a furniture repair technician out to repair your furniture to "like new" condition, if we cannot repair it to new condition we will replace the damage piece at no additional charge. Please Note: The damage or defect must be noted on the freight bill in order for Modern Furniture Décor to reorder or replace any goods. If the merchandise is damaged beyond repair and the piece must be exchanged, then only refuse the damaged item not the entire order. If the entire order is refused because of damage on one item the re-delivery fees for the entire order will be applied.

Be sure to retain all original cartons and/or packaging until resolution regarding your order has been reached. Digital images will be required showing the damage in question, as well as any damage to the packaging that your order arrived in. These images should be emailed to Service@ModernFurnitureDecor.com, along with any description that you feel is necessary. Once this information has been received we will then contact the manufacturer for resolution.

If the damage is not noted on the freight bill, then you must contact the manufacturer according to the warranty. We cannot repair or replace any items that are not noted on the freight bill. It is our policy to repair or replace any damaged merchandise. Should you wish to decline replacements, our normal Return Policy will apply and a 20% restocking fee will be applied.

MISSING PARTS | EXCHANGES:

For missing parts, replacement orders, etc. please contact us, Click Here To Send Us An Email, within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Should your order be received and require replacement parts, these will be shipped out to at no charge. Should your order be received and found to be not as ordered, we are happy to exchange the item(s) received. Replacement item(s) will be shipped out to you in a timely manner free of charge. Please ENSURE to make note on the BOL for any shortages of any cartons or boxes prior to signing. In the event there is any issue with your order, ALWAYS keep item(s) in/with its original carton(s) until you have been instructed otherwise. All damages and shortages must be reported to Modern Furniture Décor within 24 hours. Should you wish to refuse your order, or decline replacements and/or replacement parts our normal return policy will apply and a 20% restocking fee will be applied.

Modern Furniture Décor will sell at a Discounted Price Level to Commercial Customers & Designers who intend to buy in volume and/or multiple items. We require a Business Tax Id Number in order to provide this pricing and service.

Due to the natural characteristics of leather and the dye lots used in producing the items that we offer, the leather swatch received may vary slightly from the actual product you receive. Modern Furniture Décor does not guarantee color, tone, shades or finishes on any item due to the fact that screen settings vary from screen to screen.
